JAZZ SOUL RnB
I have always loved music, from a very young age. I love the emotions it arouses, the atmosphere it creates, I love to draw stories and characters with my voice.
From a very young age as a self-taught musician and later through qualified training I wanted to measure and refine my artistic talent. My love for soul and jazz have forced me to constantly and tirelessly demand of myself the stylistic and interpretive refinement that these musical genres impose. I was in no hurry to tread the stage, preferring an artistic growth of depth and quality, moving among Jazz, soul and R&B artists, from whom I learned a lot, between Italy, London, Japan and Malta.
Today I feel ready to make myself known to a wider audience. I do this by accompanying myself with nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Massimo Faraò, Byron Landham, Oscar Marchioni, Renato D'Aiello, Nicola Barbon, Claudia Zannoni, Alessandro Buzzi, Cesare Mecca, Sophia Tomelleri, Massimo Orselli, Davide Palladin, Marko Cepak, James Thompson, Stefano Franco, Flavio Davanzo, and in the past years I have been pleased to share numerous artistic experiences in Jazz and R&B projects and concerts with musicians such as Mark Abrams, U. T. Ghandi, Giorgio Pacorig, Ermes Ghiraldini, Luca Demicheli, Mario Cogno, Nevio Zaninotto, Iuri Dal Dan, Riccardo Morpurgo, Alessandra Franco, Luca Colussi, Andrea Massaria, Marzio Valentini, Francesco Vattovaz, Giuliano Tull, Mark Abrams, Massimo Rigaccini and others.
I thank Andrea Allione and Sergio Candotti, who in the early days passed on to me the passion for singing that remains my main artistic expression today.
Jazz is a soul discipline.
Moonlit & Soul by Rasmani is a collective masterwork that distills the essence of refined soul jazz into a nocturnal and deeply immersive atmosphere. The album thrives on the extraordinary synergy of an exceptional cast: the rock-solid groove of the rhythm section—comprising Massimo Faraò, Nicola Barbon, and Byron Landham—blends seamlessly with the brilliant melodic architectures of Cesare Mecca, Sophia Tomelleri, and Massimo Ravanello.
The record’s sonic identity is further enriched by the sophisticated textures provided by Massimo Orselli, Oscar Marchioni, and Davide Palladin, finding its ultimate emotional resonance in the evocative vocal nuances of Jacqueline Menezes and Claudia Zannoni. Each musician contributes a unique brushstroke to this artistic dialogue, transforming the music into a vibrant, dreamlike journey through the soul.
